Legal Question in Personal Injury in New York

Had to leave car in a parking lot due to abundance of snow in lot and could not get car out of space, left over night discovered next day car had been struck and damaged. Is there any recourse? No video cameras on lot.

That would depend on the nature of your agreement with the parking lot and whether they had the keys, parked your car, provided overnight security, and other factors.

If you left your vehicle with them under their control, your best bet would probably be to file a small claims action against the lot.

If you left your vehicle there of your own doing and never left the keys, the lot would probably have no liability unless they damaged your car (negligently drove another car into yours).
