Legal Question in Personal Injury in New York

Weightwatchers

10 years ago I went to weightwatchers hoping to lose some weight. That turned out to be the biggest mistake of my life. Their methods stressed me out and lead to my developing an eating disorder. Further I also developed OCD. I have my medical journals to prove it. I eat medication and havent been able to work for 10 years. Weightwatchers ruined my chances of ever having a natural relationship to food ever again. My obsession with food and to lose weight haunts me all day, every day. As I lost weight faster than the others, due to my eating disorder, weightwatchers just cheared me on...

Could I sue them for all the pain they have caused me?

Re: Weightwatchers

Yes, you can.

You would need to show that you lost weight faster than is normal. (That would establish their 'negligence' - they were negligent because they saw you destroying your health through an emotional disorder and they made the disorder worse.

They made the disorder worse and knew they were making it worse is crucial.

You are welocme to a consultation for no fee. Email is best to make an appointment.
