Legal Question in Real Estate Law in New York

Out of business

For 18 years I have run a small auto repair and auto sales shop in a small village in upstate new york. I have a new neighbor and she dislikes my business. The village has revoked my speical use permit. I know I can appeal, but after 18 can they shut down my business this easy? I have had 1 noise ticket in 18 years no other tickets. Help

Re: Out of business

Yes, you can and must appeal IMMEDIATELY, and, if your appeal fails to result in the renewal of your permit, you must bring an Article 78 proceeding in State Supreme Court to compel the Town or Village to renew your permit.

Since there are strict time limits involved, you MUST retain a knowledgeable attorney without further delay.;
