judgment follow up

if the two judgments were for the same mortgage because the mortgage company switched attorneys and the first one was never vacated and the second attorney filed another judgment for the same mortgage-is that legal-documentation is on file with the county clerk to prove that both were for the full amount of mortgage and associated fees

I believe tha the second Judgment is a nullity since Judgment was filed for the first cause of action. I believe that you would still be responsible for the first Judgment.
