Legal Question in Real Estate Law in New York

SHould I pay lawer if rejected by co-op board

I try to sell co-op appartment.

Been rejected by board to sell.

Now my attorney called said all of us involved have to pay $500. $250 from seller and $250 from buyer. He never told me about it. What should I do?

I feel like I do not have to pay

If you have to pay the board, you have to pay the board..or else they will assess you in arrears. If it is legal fees, that is something else. By the way, you have not been rejected by the board to sell, the buyer has not been approved by the Board. There is a difference.

Good Luck
