Legal Question in Real Estate Law in New York
We pay for a parking garage spot, 100 a month to managing agent. There are two chronic problems. First, the lot is not well lit at night so it is dangerous to go and retrieve one's car. Second, illegally parked cars are present in the lot. These cars make it difficult to pull out our car. We have informed the landlord (managing agent) regarding these problems but he is negligent. Do we have a legal way of suing him for negligence? Advise.
