im in a process of buying a property in up state NY...
there is a debt to collection company for unpaid city and county taxes .
my question is :
if im buying the house and the debt is still unpaid ,the debt will be carried to the previous over or it'll stay under the property,meaning ill have to pay it.

Any liens against the property should be paid by the seller at closing of title.
