I purchased my house 4 years ago and 6 inches of my driveway is over my property line. My neighbor is attempting to put in a fence right on her property line, which will impede my ability to use my driveway. Is there a timeframe that gives me a right-of-way usage on that portion of my driveway? I have maintained that portion of property since purchase.
the time limit is longer then four years and the other person doesn't know about the missing property. Also, if the servey you did prior to purchase shows 6 inch impingement, you should move your driway.
