Legal Question in Real Estate Law in New York

Real estate litigation

Can I bring suit against my estranged wife to force her to agree to sell the marital home? We parted 8 years ago by agreement. We do not have grounds for divorce in NY and cannot agree on conditions for a legal separation. We are both on the deed to the house. I vacated the house upon separation. She occupies the house and refuses to sell the house. There are no unemancipated children involved.

Re: Real estate litigation

A partition action is what is needed absent any divorce decreee instructions. This firm does that work if we are in your area.

Good Luck
