Rent increase

How much is legal for my landlord to increase the rent at the end of the lease term?

Unless the housing is regulated (rent-control, rent-stab.) or you were a non-purchasing tenant in a coop or condo, there is little to keep the landlord from raising the rent to any figure he chooses. If you can't agree and the matter goes to eviction, he can only get "reasonable" use and occupancy during your holdover occupancy.
