Legal Question in Traffic Law in New York

120mph speeding, how to evaluate a lawyer

Hi,

I got a 120mph in 55 speeding ticket.

I was able to convince DA to give me ACD on reckless driving. Kendall court, Orleans county NY

I am trying to find a lawyer.

I am inexperienced and would like to know how to evaluate a lawyer. Obviously, no one will guarantee the outcome of the case.

The reason I am asking this is my past experience with DWI. Me and my friend, both got DWI i paid almost 3 times then he did and got more hours in community service. Now, I am more careful.

So what are the polite questions? I would ask about their past cases. Then I don't know if it's polite to ask about their strategy.

Thank you,

Was the reckless related to the speeding? If so then why were they not disposed of together? If they were two separate instances, then you would appear to have some great problems. It is my opinion that you will not go to jail, but thaT UNLESS YOU HAVE A TERRIFIC ATTORNEY ALONG WITH A TERRIFFIC DEFENSE THEN YOU WILL LOSE YOUR LICENSE. I realistically cannot see a defense.I would love to talk to you with the goal of further answering your questions. I am a former Traffic Court Judge. Please contact my office.
