Legal Question in Traffic Law in New York

I was pulled over for having a suspended license due to failure to pay a moving violatiion ticket( i paid but forgot to pay the 30 something dollar surcharge, ridiculous...) anyway, I spent the night in jail and saw a judge the next morning. I was so tired and out of it I cant remember if i got a misdemeanor, my record is totally clean so the judge made me go pay a $125 dollar fee right outside the court room and then let me go, telling me to go to the DMV to take care of my issue. So did i just get a traffic infraction or could it still be a misdemeanor? Im filling out medical school applications and they ask if I have ever been convicted of a felony or misdemeanor, I dont THINK it was a misdemeanor but I dont want to lie. Thank you for any help.

You can go to the court where the plea was entered. Get a disposition and contact my office @7188340087. I will then be able to best respond to your inquiry. If the plea was for a misdemeanor, you must then make a motion to vacate the plea
