Legal Question in Traffic Law in New York

Suspension

I was stopped for driving while my registration was suspended. My plea of guilty by mail was denied. Was told I had to meet with the DA. Is this something they can send me to jail for. What type of punishment am I looking at. I have already faced that I won't be driving for awhile, but am afraid of jail time for this.

Re: Suspension

It is my belief that jail is not a real possibility in this case, however I do not have enough information to be certain. Your prior criminal record and the place of occurence play a big part in the outcome of all criminal offenses. Please call my office for a free consultatoon @718-834-0087.I believe with proper information I could plea bargain this matter to a very favorable disposition.
