Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in New York

I am the executor of my dads estate. I have to get a new deed drawn up to the new

owners. However I'm on SSI and have lil money to have this done. I was elected by

the probate court.I have no lawyer at this time, had one...but was too expensive, so

I had to let him go. How can I get this deed transfer over to thd new owners who was

in my dad last will and testament ? The new deed has to state 3 new owners. Theere

is no more money left from the estate. The house is in Brooklyn, NY

This is the last thing I have to complete before going into court for the final accounting

The old lawyer wanted close to $4,000.00 which I don't have.

What should I do, I have taken care of giving my sibblings what they were suppose

to get according dad will. Any advice/or reccomendations will be appreciated, like

I said I'm on SSI with lil money to have this last thing done( Transfer the new deed)

and have it drawn up. Thank you

Alice

1 Answer from Attorneys

1. Get the old deed and use it as a guide.

2. Go to the internet or library and lookup "Executors Deed".

3. Have your signature as grantor, witnessed by 2 people and notarized.
