Legal Question in Workers Comp in New York

Facial Burn

My face was burned at work due to another employees negligence. I am not unable to work, but I'm sure it will leave a scar. What should I do now?

Re: Facial Burn

I assume and hope that your employer knows about this. The employer makes a report and then worker's comensation pays your bills and loss of time from work. My suggestion is that you get an attorney to handle the matter for you. The fees for compensation attorneys come out of any awards that you receive.

Also, perhaps it is possible to start a lawsuit....depending on how the injury was received.

Feel free to contact me to get the names of comp. atorneys ... and to discuss how the accident occurred.
