rating for disfigurement

my hand got blasted with steel chips, it is permanently disfigured but due to very little loss of motion they are not offering anything for this disfigurment. is there anything in the law for disfigurement of a hand

There is no award for a disfigurement to a hand. Disfigurement awards are only made for "visible" injuries to the head and face. The theory is that facial disfigurement may impact on your employability. For an injury to the hand , there would be no compensation, even if it is disfiguring unless there is an actual functional loss of use of the hand.
