The time for filing an appeal depends on the type of ruling and the particular court. E.g. small claims court, or Superior Court? In general, a party has 30 days from the entry of a final order in which to file an appeal to the Court of Appeals. The rules are, however, very tricky, and you should probably consult an attorney with more details.
