Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in North Carolina

a writ of exceution has been served on me they said the could take my bike or car that is bank owned is this true?

Possibly although the bank would probably have priority on the money. If the judgment is against an individual, you should have gotten a notice of rights to designate your exemptions and you could have exempted your car and bike depending on the equity. You would have had 20 days to respond from the time you were served. If you didn't respond, you waived all your exemptions.
