Legal Question in Criminal Law in North Carolina

My boyfriend had court this morning at 9:30 in Randolph county, nc and I'm waiting to hear how it went. When i looked at the nc court dates his court date was highlighted in red. When i went to Randoph county's calendar all that was filled out was $500 UNS for his bond but when he was arrested we didn't have to pay a bond when he was released so that, combined with his name highlighted red, I'm worried something happened in court.

UNS means unsecured - meaning you would not have to pay a bond. If you are talking about going online to check his court date with the NC AOC, his court date being highlighted in red simply means that his court date is today.
