Legal Question in Family Law in North Carolina

hello im 16 years old and i dont know what to do. Its been getting worse where i live currently and my parents are only increasing in acting out and toxic behavior. i dont want to get into details but within a short period of time due to their behavior towards me my mental health has declined dramatically and my body doesnt seem to be responding physically well. My therapist is concerned and worried about how i may be after i turn 18 if i continue to live in my house now with them. Mostly effecting me is mental, verbal, and emotional abuse and medication isnt helping me get better at all. I wanted to know if i could become emancipated?or if im eligible, i do have several adults who do agree that i should atleast try for the process. but i was also wondering if i could just get married, bc my boyfriend wanted to help me get out of my situation, and in some cases tehnically i get granted automatic emancipation if i understand correctly. im sure which i should attpemt first, my parents have made it clear that they do not intend on allowing me to leave the house even after i turn 18, which i would be an adult, but they said they dont care and can "do whatever the fuck they want". im so depressed with the situations they keep putting me in now and having me on lockdown so i cat talk to anyone, they think im doing my homework now which is the only reason i can write this, but i was wondering if someone could please help me, idk what to do anymore. i know that 2 years doesnt seem very long to most of you adults reading this, but it has been very long for me and i dont think i want to wait anymore...

Really? You are 16, seeing a therapist, on medication and can't cope with your parents speaking to you harshly and you think you have the sack to make it in the world. Here's what you likely need to do - suck it up like most every other normal teenager - you likely have it way better than 80% of the other children your age in the world, look into the feasibility of ditching the therapist and medication and serve out your remaining two years going to school and properly preparing yourself for the adult word. If you want to be emancipated, you have to prove to a Judge's satisfaction that you can take care of yourself financially and otherwise. Based on the content of this question, you likely don't have the skills to properly care for a goldfish let alone yourself. So before you go crawl in your safe space, If you think this is harsh, this is nothing compared to what the world is going to start hurling at you in two short years - you need to learn how to help yourself. Best of luck.
