Re: Legal separation in North Carolina

I only practice law in Texas and therefore cannot address North Carolina law.

If a pending legal proceeding is in North Carolina, then Texas will not have any jurisdiction over the case.

If the case in North Carolina has been dismissed or whatever North Carolina calls it. If there is no court of continuing jurisdiction, then a legal proceeding can be filed in Texas.

Good luck!
