Legal Question in Family Law in North Carolina

I live in Indiana. My daugher lives in North Carolina, is 18 and still in high school. I have been paying child support to her mother and have recently discovered that my daughter has moved out of her mother's house. I was then informed that child support is no longer going to her mother but to a woman she is living with, whom I do not know. Is there anything that I can do to dispute the payments going to a person I don't know and have them sent directly to my daughter, or can her mother and I tell her she has to either return home to her mother or move in with me?

Yes, you need to go back to court. Sounds like your daughter has become emancipated.
