My sister left her husband in SC and has been living with our parents. She is now planning to move to Az with her 9 year old to live with someone she met on facebook. is there any legal way we can stop her from taking her daughter?

The short answer is - probably not. In order to intervene your sister would need to be unfit in some fashion. It is doubtful that the move you mentioned would be sufficient eventhough most people would consider the decision to be at the very least, rash. Your best bet would be to consult with a local attorney who can sit down with you and go over your situation in more detail. It may be possible for you to obtain emergency temporary custody if there are other facts you have left out.
