Legal Question in Family Law in North Carolina

Wife living with another man

My wife left and is living with another man in another state. There is no legal separation or divorce. She receives her retirement and part of my social security. She is also provided medical insurance through my health plan. Not satisfied and wants more. Am I under any obligation or can I be forced to fulfill what she is asking for since there is no legal separation or divorce? Any advice appreciated.

Re: Wife living with another man

You would be wise to obtain legal advice but, if you can show that she abandoned you to go to another state to live with this other man, you are probably not liable to keep her on your insurance or any other type of support.

Good luck,
