Legal Question in Immigration Law in North Carolina

Can I apply for H1B

Hi,

I entered U.S. in May 2000. I overstayed my status. I worked all this time and I paid all my taxes. I am graduating the College in May 2007 with the degree in Business Administration.

After I am graduating can I adjust my status?

Thank you very much!

Because you have been employed without authorization, and overstayed your status, you will not be able to adjust status unless you are an immediate relative of the US citizen. also, any visa is likely to be denied.
