Legal Question in Legal Malpractice in North Carolina

I was represented by two different attorneys in a chapter 13 bankruptcy case. In each case the representation I got was shoddy at best and even the second lawyer told me during consultation that if what he did didn't work he was sure that within the next two years he would be getting a letter about me going after him for what he did. So right now I am looking for an attorney to represent me in a legal malpractice suit against both of them. The judge on my case even said during my court case that the right filing should have been an 11 and I would still have my property but as it is he had ne recourse but to dismiss my bankruptcy and give the property I owned back to the lien holder. So my question is where do I find an attorney in my area to represent me?

John Kirby Law Offices of John M. Kirby

It can be difficult to find a lawyer to represent you in this type of case. You will have to look in the phone books, use Google, and use other sources (e.g. internet resources, referral services) to find an attorney with knowledge in this area of law who is willing to take the case, ideally in your geographic area, and of course on terms that you can afford. These cases can be very complicated, and you will have to work to find a good attorney to represent you, but if your case has merit and sufficient damages, you should be able to find one.
