Legal Question in Military Law in North Carolina

Administrative Separation

I am currently undergoing an administrative separation from the Marine Corps for problems I have having with my knee. I have no record of bad conduct in the Military, and my only problem is that I can't run the three miles required for our physical fitness test. I re-enlisted last November and have five and a half years in the Corps. Is it still possible for the Marine Corps to give me anything less than an Honorable Discharge?

Re: Administrative Separation

If your record is clean and the only reason for discharge is that you are no longer physically qualified to serve, then you may anticipate getting an honorable discharge. That determination is based on a formula that uses your average conduct and proficiency marks during your current enlistment.
