Legal Question in Personal Injury in North Carolina

Injured for life

I was in a wreckwhich was his fault by falling a sleep and coming over and totaling my van.I had screws put in from wreck,and because I have a bad criminal record his insurance does not want to compensate fully.what can I use to help me.I lost my life when this happened.I was very active with my children,but not now,and had to go to a desk job as well,I have a lawyer but I feel like he is not helping very much.

I agree that you need better communication. lack of communication is one of the most common grievances against lawyers in NC. You are legally entitled to fair compensation for your injuries of course. Your criminal record should have little bearing on the issues.

It sounds like there is not sufficient communication between you and your lawyer. I think the two of you need to meet and go over all of your concerns. Your entitled to have all of your questions answered and to obtain an understanding of those aspects of the case that you are not clear on.
