If you are convicted as is, you will receive a suspension and will most likely see a big insurance increase. You will want to hire an experienced traffic attorney to handle your case in a way that will prevent any suspension and possibly any insurance increase as well. If the DA and Judges in your district allow it, a PJC would be one possible option that would prevent a suspension / insurance increase. However, based on the polices in your district, there may be other more favorable options that a local experienced traffic attorney will know about.
