Legal Question in Traffic Law in North Carolina

Speeding ticket

Hi, I just recieved a ticket for going 83 in a 55. I have had one other ticket a few months ago but it was dropped with improper equipment. What can I do to try and get out of this one to where my insurance will not go sky high? Can I use prayer of judgement? The irony of all of this is my speedometer was messed up this time and I did not know how fast I was going but did not tell the state trooper because I was so rattled and scared, so could I get improper equipment for this one too?

Re: Speeding ticket

A 64 in a 55 won;t have insurance consequences if it is the only one you have in the past three years. A PJC would also work if it is the only one on your POLICY in the past three years.
