Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in North Dakota

trying to make good

im currently trying to settle debt on a few credit cards. i have one almost paid off and am currently making arrangments with another. then a third one pops up....one i honestly had forgotten about. it is an old navy account and its for $460 and some odd dollars. they were VERY rude and refused to work with me...demanding that i pay the full amount right way or else.... i explained that have other people im paying off right now and they would have to wait until i was done fulfilling those arrangements. they call all the time with threats of sending the sheriff, taking me to court etc. recently they threatened to garnish my wages...can they do that? im a student and dont have a lot of money at my disposal. im trying to make good here and i feel like they are being unreasonable. is there anything i can do?

Was it a 3rd Party collector? If so you may have a lawsuit vs. THEM. Call for assistance.
