Legal Question in Disability Law in Ohio

i have dementia and had been in a nursing home for almost a year or so. i started running away and going home. and would be taken back by family. finally my spouse go legal custody of me and i see a counselor and a general practitioner for my meds.

i got an attorney to fight for my ssi after my husband got legal guardianship of my person only...

resently i discovered that 10,000. of my ssi award money was missing only 5,242.47 can be accounted for.

my husband/guardian took the money from the bank then would hid/get to the bank statements so i wouldn't find out..

after awhile i went online and registered the account and found 10,000. missing in 2 5,000. withdrawals

i confronted him and he still hasn't given me any explanation: JUST ITS GONE

WHAT DO I DO NOW I WANT MY MONEY BACK WITH OR W/O EXPLANATION.

My advice is you must get an attorney to advocate for you. You can not do this yourself. A competent family-law attorney may be able to have the guardianship either revoked or clarify its extent. Also, if your guardian is doing something outside the guardianship, such as withdrawing money without your consent, this can be investigated by the attorney and perhaps recovered. In any event you must get an advocate.
