How long do I have to wait, to file for bankruptcy after I transfer ownership of a car to husband that is paid off in OHIO.

Transfers to a spouse qualify as a transfer to an insider, so you have to wait one full year before filing after such a transfer for less than fair market value, otherwise the transfer can be avoided as a preference by the trustee.
