Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Ohio
eight years ago i filed bankruptcy and it was dismissed . I had a 2nd mortgage with a local credit union. They filed a lean on my house.I just find this out.Can they do this??

A mortgage lien is traditionally filed when you take out the loan. If it was a mortgage from another property, the credit union could get a judgment and file a lien that would attach to all your property. It is best to talk to a qualified bankruptcy lawyer about what your options are.
