Legal Question in Business Law in Ohio
company name
I own a company in Ohio, I've noticed that someone in AZ is using the name, I'm registered with the name and have a FED #, etc. Do I own the name, can I sue him, or make him stop using it?

Re: company name
If you have an Ohio corporation or limited liability company, you are entitled to exclusive use of the name in Ohio only. To get the exclusive right to use the name on a national basis, it would have to be registered federally.
