Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Ohio
Protection Order
My husband has threatened my life in the past and I want to get a protection order to be able to leave him. This morning he left me 5 voice mails saying he'll kill me if I come home from work. I work in another county than I live and can't leave to go to the courthouse. Can I fax a petition for protection to my courthouse?

What he has done already is a crime. All you have to do is go to your local police station to get a TRO.
