If I download an image of a famous

person off the web site ''Google

Images'' and attach a quote to that

image, can I reproduce that image

and quote as a bookmark and sell it

on eBay?

Probably not. Most such images are copyrighted. The owner's copyright does not disappear just because the image is accessible via Google. The fact that you can readily find the image does not give you the right to use it without compensating its owner.
