Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Ohio

Questionable Use of a Credit Card

I am the executor of my Fathers estate. He had some problems with unathorized use of his credit card and a bank account. While he was alive he did not do anything about it. He passed away Feb.21, 2004. These transactions took place a month prior to his death, nothing more has happened since the last tranaction. Can I as the executor do anything about it since he is gone and this happened while he was still alive??

Re: Questionable Use of a Credit Card

Once you have been appointed executor by the probate court, you could report the possible misuse to the credit card company, and/or file an action against the alleged wrongdoer, assuming that person can be identified.
