Legal Question in Criminal Law in Ohio
My boyfried has a prior assault charge against his brother who is atistic. yesterday they got into a fight and his brother went crazy so my boyfriend got a hockey stick to defend himself and ended up hiting his brother with it. now his brother is very very viloent and has beat on every buddy ...from his teachers to me ,his brother and his aids. what will the charges likley be for this?

They will likely be assault and battery. The prosecutors may do assault with a deadly weapon due to their being a hockey stick involved. But he has a defense if he was trying to defend himself, which is what it sounds like. I suggest getting an attorney to defend your boyfriend. I would recommend he plead not guilty and fight it out in court. I am assuming there were witnesses to all of this.
