complicity misdemeanor

my son was arrested for complicity to traffic in drugs which was dropped down to a misdemeanor. he plead guilty. any idea how much time he might get, if any? first offense. can it be appealed after sentencing?

If your son pleaded guilty to a 1st degree misdemeanor he could be sentenced to 6 moths in the local County jail. If this is his first offense then he should end up with something less than that.

I assume that your son is represented by an attorney. If that is true, then the attorney is the person who should have the information necessary to answer your question.

If your son pleaded guilty, he will not be able to appeal. If he pleaded no contest, he may be able to appeal after the sentencing.

Have him talk to his attorney. If your son says that it is OK, the attorney should be able to talk to you about his case.
