Can I be convicted of an Home invasion 9 years ago??

In Ohio, you could argue that to do so would violate your right to a speedy trial under the Sixth Amendment. However, it depends upon the circumstances for the delay. The best case for you would be that the police had evidence you did it, knew where you were, and then sat on their hands and did nothing for 9 years.

But if this is a situation where the police just now came to suspect you because of new evidence, or if you have been hiding out from them for 9 years, then Sixth Amendment's protections might not have been violated.
