Legal Question in DUI Law in Ohio

Driving under suspension

My son got a DUI in April,2006. He had to do 10 days in jail and driving privledges for work. They also put a club on his car for 37 days. He did his 10 days and was driving to work and got pulled over because he forgot to get his new sticker for plate. They said he was driving under suspension because he failed to show a new insurance card in Nov. but he had been covered the entire time. He showed proof of ins. and cannot get his sticker now because he needs to pay $100.00 reinstatement fee for car. Can he go back to jail? He has a good job and could lose his job if this happens.

Re: Driving under suspension

Sounds like he will be fine, as long as he is represented. The DUS should be amended to be a No Operator's License charge, but a lawyer will be needed to do this.
