Legal Question in DUI Law in Ohio

dui after 6 years

I had three DUI's 6 years ago and have just got another. WHat happens to my dui's from after 6 years ago will they affect this decisions.

They will definitely effect the decision on sentencing. The fact that they are over six years means the law, as far as any mandatory sentencing, will treat it as a first time offense. However, the judge has complete power to impose any sentencs they choose up to the maximum. Another consideration is if you refused to take a BAC test for the current OVI. With priors in 20 years, that will increase penalties.
