Legal Question in Family Law in Ohio

child support

I'm being paid child support. My ex-husband and I have gotten back together. My ex, our son, and I are all living together. How do I get the child support payments stopped without hiring an attorney?

Re: child support

Child support orders are enforced by the Child Support Enforcemant Agency for your County. A letter from you and your husband along with a request that the support order be modified should do the job. I suggest that you call CSEA and ask them to tell you what will work for your County. They may require that you get an order from the Court. Even so, they are usually able to help you get this order without an attorney.

If you run into a problem, feel free to give me a call.

Good Luck!
