Re: Foreclosure

You may be protected. It depends on whether the money owed to you was secured by a lien of some sort. If it was and the home will bring more than what is owed to the bank (or banks)ahead of you in priority, then you should get your money even in a bankruptcy situation.

I have given you a general answer. You would do well to talk directly to an attorney and have that person help decide if there is anything else that you should do right away to protect your position.

Feel free to give me a call if you would like to discuss this in more detail. No charge or obligation for a free, confidential telephone conference.

Good Luck!
