Re: Regarding parental responsibility

If he has a financial responsibility and the court has previously ordered him to pay for the medical bills or other items, file for contempt. The potential penalty is jail, but the Court is more likely to suspend jail on the condition that he make good on his responsibility.

If he is behind on his support, call the prosecutor.

Re: Regarding parental responsibility

There is nothing in the law that compels anyone to be a parent, but if your ex is under an order to pay medical bills, send him copies of the bills, then file an action in contempt against him.
