Legal Question in Family Law in Ohio

My Rights

Do I have to file for a divorce in the county I live in, or can I file in the county we were married in? They are different, live in Clinton, married in Warren.

Here is the text from the Ohio Rules of Civil Procedure: ...In actions for divorce, annulment, or legal separation, [proper venue is] in the county in which the plaintiff is and has been a resident for at least ninety days immediately preceding the filing of the complaint...

One has to live in the county you file for at least 90 days in order to file for divorce in that jurisdiction
