Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Ohio

psycho ex-mistress

If one had a mistress while living with a girlfriend, and one broke off the relationship with said mistress, but this psychotic mistress emailed incriminating messages to one's live-in girlfriend, with whom one shared joint ownership with the home, and these messages caused strife in one's life, including possibly losing the house, does one have a case to sue the psycho ex-mistress?

Re: psycho ex-mistress

You can only sue someone when they make threats do some physical harm to someone, (menacing), continue to contact someone after he/she asked for contact to end, (harassment), or tell lies about someone to a third party,(defamation).

I cannot determine from the facts you provided if the mistress crossed the line at this point.
