if a man has a step daughter

not legal adopted wife passed away .whay right does the step daughter have regarding her step father ?

Re: step children

He is an "interested individual" who has the right to request custody. A court will ultimately decide if his custody or visitation rights are in the best interests of the child. Of course, if the child is old enough she can tell the court where she wants to live, and this will carry some weight.
