Legal Question in Juvenile Dependency in Ohio

I am 17 years old and will be 18 November 16th of this year. I am fairly independent and currently in the process of finding employment. I live with my mother but I want to move out, either on my own or with another legal adult due to differences between my mother and I. She does not accept me nor aknowledge my needs. I have asked for her consent to leave in order to save the little bit of relationship we have but she woulnd't allow it. Can I legally move out or with someone else? Without having to deal with social services and her trying sending me to juvie?

The short answer is no. You can not move out without getting social services involved and you must show that you are in danger or not being cared for by your mother. On the other side of the coin, your mother is still responsible to shelter, clothe, feed you, and make sure you go to school. If she is not doing these things you should call Child Protective Services. Otherwise, you may just need to wait for November 16.
